Get Cracking on Christmas - March edition

It's the third Thursday of the month, which means it's time for another Christmas card post! I'm joining some crafty friends to create and post Christmas cards throughout the year, so by December we'll have a big stash all ready to go!

Today's card features the gorgeous Angels set from the Hero Arts winter release, and is a card I designed for a retailer class last summer.

I began by embossing the angel and clouds in gold. I watercolored using my Hero Arts Palette dot card, then die cut with the coordinating Angels Frame Cuts.

Now for the really fun part - I die cut an opening in both the card front as well as a white panel using the Oval Infinity Dies. Then I sandwiched some white tulle between the two pieces. The angel and clouds really look like the are floating when on the soft tulle. The message was stamped inside the card to allow it to peek through the front.

Let's see what my friends Jenn, Cheiron, Chari and Caryn came up with today! Jenn's card will be up a little after the rest of us - she's buried in snow with no power at the moment!

Thanks for stopping by!
